Skynix Does An Art In 2026: Week 28 This is probably my favourite attack I've done so far. Bean and Superbia (Pride Moth) for @valdevia.art #art #skynixart #artfight #Artfight2026

A head shot drawing of a siamese cat with three icy-coloured eyes and a stuck out tongue. The eyes are looking towards a moth that has landed on his nose.

The moth has a light pink fluffy body and wings with a painterly pattern in the rainbow/pride flag colours.

The background is dark and filled with stardust.

Mario is beyond drowning now.

Super Mario Sunshine is surprisingly more realistic than later Mario games in one specific aspect: here, Mario will start drowning if he hangs on to a ledge in such a way that water is flowing into his nose and mouth, as one would in real life.

Observe Mario holding on to a ledge that water is flowing over in Super Mario Galaxy (left) and Super Mario Odyssey (right). If realistic physics applied, he should start drowning since his nostrils and mouth are covered by water flowing into them.
However, in these games the air depletion/drowning state is tied to the swimming animation. As long as Mario is not visibly swimming, he cannot be drowning even if he is covered by water.
In Super Mario Sunshine, however, air depletion is decoupled from swimming as an action, allowing Mario to realistically start drowning in this situation (note him flashing red and his air meter depleting).
However, he is saved by Sunshine's (also unique among 3D Mario platformers) ledge tiredness mechanic. After hanging on for 20 seconds, Mario will let go. This is also realistic, since why would he let himself drown?

I would like to formally apologise to the unicornfish community i think it is cool actually for the most boring of us to imagine ourselves more interesting #critterposting

Crude drawing of a boring blue fish. It is surrounded by a white imagined unicorn with flowing mane and love hearts and stars all on a psychedelic field of contrasting blue outlines. Shaped like shapes.

A unicornfish from Raja Ampat, feeding on plankton in open water over a reef. I think this is a sleek unicornfish (Naso hexacanthus) but could be one of its relatives. #MarineLife #Wildlife 🐟🌿

An oval fish with a triangular tail. It has two sharp blades at the tail base. It is light blue, with a yellowish tail fin margin and belly. The lower and rear edges of the operculum are dark. The fish is pictured alone, against blue water, but is part of a much larger aggregation feeding over a reef.
