Start by scrutinising - really scrutinising - Reform’s so-called manifesto, and challenging it publicly. The beneficiaries are clear (i.e. the rich), and so is the complete lack of any semblance of costing and the complete contempt for public services and the interests of ordinary people.

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 151: You don't need to describe characters in detail as soon as you introduce them. We don't tend to notice things all at once: we notice one or two main features first, then maybe add details later. Your characters can do the same. Let them learn as they go along.
