I've been cooking up some art challenge for October and I would like to present you OC-tober! We're designing new characters based on the prompts in this one, you can keep them or sell them out, have fun creating! 💖 #artchallenge #OCsky #OCchallenge2026

OC-tober 2026
Design new characters based on the prompts! Pick one or combine them, have fun with the challenge I bestow upon you! Each set of prompts is meant for a 4-day challenge, with 3 free days in between to do any catching up or rest from the game. You can interpret the prompts and challenge however you see fit. Do as many or as little characters as you have time and energy for. First and foremost - have fun creating!
Oct 1-4 - watch, guidance, capricious
Oct 5-8 - rapid, fishing, tea
Oct 9 - free day
Oct 10-13 - courage, path, imaginary
Oct 14-17 - moon, pray, doll
Oct 18 - free day
Oct 19-22 - king, rose, gruesome
Oct 23-26 - billowy, flight, revolution
Oct 27 - free day
Oct 28-31 - chemistry, funeral, rhythm

You can use this challenge to make adoptables based on the prompts. It was made with that purpose in mind and you may do the same if you want! I take no credit for any of your creations, I just wish to share a fun community activity, nor do I claim the ownership over OCtober name or concept. Have fun, take care of yourself and screw AI.

Use #OCchallenge2026 so I can find you and share your work!

Stumbled upon in a Coming Soon list (or website ad) while looking up a different movie's showtimes. 5). Luck of the draw for pre-show trailers. 6). Physical movie posters/standees at the local theater.

Me when on Twitter I’m seeing some good Forgotten Island fanart but also SB19 and Bini fans beefing for no reason, also pinoys back home calling u “diasporoids” as if we’re on 4chan. While here I’m seeing just furry and fetish art of Raww and not much of our main girls HELLO???????

Big news: The family of Tierra Walker, who died after she couldn't get an abortion, is suing a slate of Texas actors in state court, including AG Ken Paxton. They say the state ban is unconstitutional. This is the first suit of its kind. 19thnews.org/2026/09/texa...

Tierra Walker died after she couldn’t get an abortion. Her family is suing Ken Paxton

The case, filed Tuesday, argues that Texas’ near-total abortion ban violates the state and U.S. Constitutions, which “prohibit state actors from killing their citizens.”

Kevin from coyote vs acme in chuck Jones' toony style. He wears an unfashionable suit, clip on tie, and an unkempt mustache with stubble. Hes trying to look serious and intimidating, but looks instead like he might cry. The papers he's holding are dripping wet. Coyote is realistic, side eyeing him and looking uncertain in his decisions to hire a lawyer he found on the television

Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)

A diptych of two black and white cameos. On the left is Hepsibah, a fat, middle-aged woman with a mischievous smile, and on the right is Morgan, a man in their mid-20s with a neck tattoo of a chess piece. The art is really good. If you cant see it, you're just gonna have to trust me on this one.
