I think the social democracies of northern Europe offer a glimpse of the kind of blended economic model that allows for a bit of everything. 2/2 That's neither communism or socialism. I've worked with many people from the former Soviet Union and/or it's satellite states at the time. It was horrible for them. And, I understand their views and experience, very well.
