I am perpetually disappointed by microwave rice in the US. It tastes just flat out wrong. Bad. Gross. You know, those "microwave in 90 seconds" packets. They taste like normal rice in the UK. basmati tastes like basmati, etc. Anyway, my dinner plans have pivoted.

This Polish developer created an app called 'Zuckoff' that detects nearby Meta smart glasses

A Polish software developer has created an iPhone app called Zuckoff that detects nearby Meta smart glasses using their Bluetooth signals.
The app estimates how close the glasses are using known device fingerprints, UUIDs and manufacturing information.
It has gained over 5,000 users since launch on Apple's app store.
A paid version can also send background alerts when compatible glasses are nearby.
However, the app cannot determine whether someone is actually recording.
Developer Pawel Szydlowski said he built it over privacy concerns around smart glasses.
