I finished the artwork I wanted to do but I still need to finish at least 2 new pieces this weekend and it's kinda iffy if I'll get 1 much less 2 entire pieces done. then I still have the other merch next week. it's possible, but I won't be getting much sleep.

It was raining hard all morning today but it's calmed down now. Potentially more rain later but seems to be clear for my commute next week. And the highs are now a reasonable low 80s, positively chilly. Need a sweater in weather like that.

Busy today going to the farmer's market to get picnic stuff and snacks, then the city/county picnic. I spent a few hours sort of working on my arts/crafts, then it was off to the Japanese moon viewing festival in the next county. It was crowded and still hot but I did get to see the children's choir

my sales/purchases have been going well except for the 2 incomplete overseas purchases despite the money having gone out of my bank for them last year. I'll just take that as a loss and be thankful it didn't cost even more due to tariffs/customs. i supported a small artist and that's what matters

We saw the Transformers 1986 movie and going in blind, it was enjoyably traumatizing. I would cry if I saw that as a kid to be honest. Blew their budget on music and animation and voice acting. Totally worth the drive and cost to see it on the big screen with other fans. Would I recommend it? God no

Movie at 4, but we plan to meet at 3:30, but it takes me over 30 minutes to get there so I have to leave at 2:45 to be absolutely sure I won't get into random Sunday afternoon traffic. Which means I can't do anything else the rest of the day in case I'm late. Love this for me

craft updates - while the crochet attempts stalled due to hand pain, I did discover that I could fix failed button badges by reusing the materials to make imperfect but still decent badges. i had a lot of failed badges, some i threw away, the rest i saved, this is a gamechanger.
