This is a good illustration of how so much of AI theft isn't indirect (ie, data sucked into a model to train the chatbot) - it's actually **direct** copying, but *enabled* by GenAI. Of course it is: chatbots absolutely suck at creating good, new stuff.

BYV: Media ownership is more concentrated in Australia than in almost any comparable democracy. In the regions, with fewer local voices left, one channel is filling the gap.

a meme - looks like a public service announcement about the safety features and hazards on a plane or train. “How to avoid sexual assault
A QUICK AND EASY GUIDE*
2
3
DON'T PUT DRUGS IN PEOPLE'S DRINKS.
USE THE BUDDY SYSTEM.
If you might sexually assault someone, bring a friend to stop you.
IF SOMEONE IS DRUNK, HIGH, OR ASLEEP, DON'T RAPE THEM.
5
6
CARRY A WHISTLE.
If you might sexually assault someone, blow it until someone stops you.
8
WATCH WHAT YOU WEAR.
If someone's clothes are a problem for you, try wearing a blindfold.
WHEN YOU SEE
SOMEONE WALKING ALONE, LEAVE THEM ALONE.
DON'T FEEL
ENTITLED TO SEX.
Nobody owes you sex.
Flirting isn't consent.
IF YOU'RE ALONE WITH SOMEONE, DON'T SEXUALLY ASSAULT THEM.
