Also, at this point most of these systems are largely AI generated, and by design LLMs will generate random adversarial bullshit as a side effect except in rare hardcoded censorship edge cases that block you from doing things.

As Evil Hat said, I'm working on a one-book product history of Classic Traveller (closing out ch. 11 today). I've also got 2 out of 6 books done for a series on AD&D 2e, and I expect to return to that next year. The Call of Cthulhu book is a system history, which isn't quite the same thing.

I know its because they don't care and their data collection process is an automated fire hose designed to indiscriminately feed increasingly larger models, but still, not taking sites down seems pretty basic...

Given the value of the companies (usually) doing this kind of scraping it feels weird that they're choosing to DDOS small knowledge share sites like this. There seem to be a lot of options from rate limiting to buying rights to all the hosted items directly to hiring someone to curate niche datasets

The Butlerian Jihad is real.
Pope Leo XIV: In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.
