Jisogi is probably one of the tightest economies in any game I’ve played, and I loved the struggle. Finished my first play tonight then instantly started to think about playing again and the different strategies I want to try out.

I purchased a 3D printer about a month ago in large part as a way to make board game inserts. Now 3D printing has turned into a bit of a hobby itself. Has anyone else had a new side hobby emerge from another hobby? I imagine miniature painting might be another one for hobby tabletop gamers.

The Odyssey starts fast out of the gate and doesn’t let up. Almost three hours flies by, buoyed by excellent performances by the entire expansive cast. Highly recommend going to see it at theaters (especially IMAX). Fantastic film!

My comment left on the video: “AI is not like any other technological advancement. AI like this is built on theft from artists. Those artists are struggling more than ever against a tsunami of sentiment declaring the loss of their livelihoods as “progress”.

Cody, I wonder if you would have a strong opinion about someone taking all of your lecture videos, feeding them into AI and “writing” and selling (and profiting from) a book based on your work?”

Disclosure Day is an absolute delight from start to finish. Spielberg challenges us to consider what it would mean to find we weren’t alone in the universe, as well as what it means to be human. The entire cast is excellent but particularly Emily Blunt and Colman Domingo stood out to me.
