Got it into my head that I wanted to paint a Rogue Trader era Grey Knight (from before they had terminators). There isn’t much info on how they looked that I could find beyond black and white art and a single ‘Eavy Metal image, so I did my best. Yes, the icon was a nightmare, thanks for asking.

An old space marine mini painted mostly in silver. Its gun has been slightly modified with a 3D printed magazine.

A close up of its shoulder pad where I have painted a modified version of the Imperial Aquila. It is holding an axe and a rod. It’s the symbol of the Ordo Malleus.

Over the summer I did a fun little collage project: making an entire proxy #MagictheGathering #MtGCommander deck from scrap magazines, art books and assorted visual junk. Loved every second of it. Now to just get in the table for game!

Thankfully being fed a lot of out-there indie animator stuff on Insta lately, and it’s really reminded me of how important this kind of art is. It takes me back to the early days of watching David Firth and Cyriak cartoons on long-forgotten Flash sites. Back when the internet was truly alive.

And now, a large vehicle (in 15mm scale). It's about 75mm long, and primarily resin (evidently, printed). The model is from Slave2Gaming. #miniaturepainting #maschinenkrieger #15mm #scifiminiatures

A large hover tank, off-white and covered in black stripes.
There are spots of colour here and there, and "PROPELLANT TANK" in large red letters.

View from the front.
More zigzagging lines, and "T-02" in red letters on the other side.

View of the back side.
There is a double hatch painted in hazard stripes.

I logged into my Facebook for the first time in a long time and was flashbanged by the fact I painted this fella FIVE YEARS AGO. I remember painting him up for the Iron Skull comp in London and taking away a finalist pin! It was quite a challenge to figure out rusty NMM #paintingwarhammer

A painted miniature against a black background, depicting an Orkish prospector weilding a pickaxe and rusty gun. He stands on a orange desert base and wears a floppy sombrero.
