Holy shit I didn't know, sorry. I just got on the stuff a couple weeks ago myself. Bupropion I have a complicated feeling with, it helps me focus some but sometimes I feel like it's making me able to connect with others less. Or maybe that's the dysphoria, I don't know, I'm really unsure.

I love this episode, I liked Kai before this but this one really made him a favorite for me

He's just a cheeky little shit, hard to hate him for it

Admittedly I think a lot of why I feel this way is because I took to Amuro pretty early, which you didn't seem to lol, and there really isn't *too* much more to Hayato in 0079 so it's kinda easy for me to see his negatives, which is probably why he's my least favorite of the main White Base cast

You can kinda see his jealousy in play there too. And neither him *or* Amuro are really wrong in the whole overreliance on Amuro thing, but I feel like it's definitely a factor

You saw the episode where he deserts too right? It's hard to hate Hayato for a lot of the run because he's just a quiet little guy, but every now and then he'll mention wanting to keep up with Amuro. Also the fact that his response to Amuro not getting punished for deserting BY ALSO DESERTING

My problem with Hayato is mostly his hypocritical attitude and jealousy born resentment of Amuro. They're both young of course, Amuro definitely had his whole "they need me/they don't need me" gripes, but he gets over that like...almost immediately after he deserts. He gets better, he learns.
