The Conservatives want to restrict people on benefits from buying alcohol. Yet they’re uninterested in restricting the cheaper alcohol sold in Parliament’s bars and restaurants. Why is one use of public money treated as morally unacceptable while the other is apparently fine?

At the start of September this crow (I named Skeksis due to a resemblance to the Chamberlain in The Dark Crystal) started being hand-fed cashew nuts. 2 weeks hand-fed twice daily & much healthier. I may have a longterm slightly wary wild friend. #crow #corvid #skeksis #urbandruidry #justdruid

An altar for imbolc set up on the seasonal sundial stones on the ground in the centre of the Millenium Stone Circle at Hilly Fields, near Ladywell.The quarters are marked by a lantern with lit candle in the south, a bottle and a bowl of water in the west, a stone with a carved awen upon it in the north, and a thurible with incense in the east. There is also a small blue clay drinking vessel with an Awen embossed upon it, a deck of Animal Oracle cards within a green velvet bag with a golden awen, and a statue of Brighid. There is a flask of honeyed, warmed oat milk and a bottle of mead.

On August 16th at approximately 10:00 pm
I received a call from the ICU at the VA saying my Dad had sepsis and needed to be intubated to stay alive so Josh and I headed in. We were greeted by the kindest, most calming and warm soul who helped us understand what was happening and showed deep care for us and my Dad. He continued to show utmost patience and kindness over the next few days as my Dad remained in the ICU and we were there continually. It was Alex Pretti, the man shot today by ICE. If you see this video and don't think it's murder, I don't understand your thinking and ask you to question your heart. He was out there trying to help and protect and from the little we knew of him, it doesn't surprise me he was not afraid to be on the front lines of this horrible scene in our Minneapolis. Weeping for his family and all those at the VA who no longer get to work with him or receive his care.
