I also assess grants, and so far I haven't been able to read one and go 'THAT'S AI', which is interesting. And ultimately, even the smoothest written AI application isn't going to save a shit artistic idea.

Almost every single working artist I know is using AI to write grant applications or acquittals, but (as far as I know) none are using it for the art itself. That's the fun stuff, and if you can save (unpaid) time on filling in forms, woohoo.

I imagine the statement would be considerably more forthright- as it has, historically, from both major parties- if an Australian citizen was involved. It's not even clear it will go ahead. With Trump in particular, I'd safely assume the more AU, EU etc condemn the more likely it is he will ok it.
