I'm overall happy with the work the tilers/masoners have done with our bathroom renovation so far. But man, trying to get them to close gates, doors and park at sensible spots is seemingly impossible. Almost tempting to work @ home in the noise just so I can be sure that they don't leave things open

I am regularly blown away by the killer way "Song til stormen" kicks off Norrøn livskunst. It's rare to see an album begin with such powerhouse vocals so immediately. No music. No gradual lead-in to a song. Just stacks and stacks of sweet, sweet Lars vocal harmonies the moment the album begins.

Me just over the finish line after yet another PB on a 10k, 43:15 this time.

Me running across the finish line on 2026's "10 for Grete". I'm in all black with a caps on backwards with the bib on my stomach. Several other runners in more colourful clothes are behind me, and there are tons of spectators behind fences.

New 10k record (43:15) last Saturday, with significantly less pain in my legs compared to last time! Not so good that I can do HIIT today but this feels like manageable soreness at least.

The thing about heat in Norway at least is that it stays far into the night. 30°C (86°F) now at 8:45pm, and forecast says 29°C tomorrow at midnight. It's not horrible outside, but like, sleeping temperatures without AC is hell. Normally not an issue given our usual temps ofc, but climate change 🤷‍♂️
