“Data center construction is expected to account for 75% of Clayco’s nearly $12 billion in 2026 revenue, helping boost revenue by 43% over 2025. ‘I’ve been in the data center business for most of my career, but never would’ve imagined what’s happening today,’ he says.”

I swear the noise pollution of having Spire on my street for the last few years is turning me feral. How many times can one company drill the same corner? Why do they need to drag steel plates everywhere (destroying sidewalks and streets in the process)? Can they stop beeping all the time?

I walked to my doctor's appointment today and reported this missing sidewalk segment to the 311. #weekwithoutdriving

It’s #weekwithoutdriving and today we had our regular bike pedestrian coalition meeting and as always, we have lots of people join us without cars. Our meeting spot has no bike racks but endless free street parking. It would be nice if the city had spots for bike parking to daylight intersections

The honest truth is that someone got a template from either a law firm or a legal database, they put in their company info, and probably never updated it beyond that. The amount of times I interact with lawyers who don’t know what their contracts say is ridiculously high.

Counterparty: we would never allow x!!! Me: checks their terms of use, confirms they indeed do x (and y, and z) Me: drafts the terms to include the exact language they use because I’m an asshole and I want them to know I’m an asshole and that I know they “misrepresented” their privacy stance

I can tolerate the need to eat daily but I cannot accept that it has to be prepared, especially on days I am required to work. It's also completely unacceptable that I am forced to create dishes which I also have to deal with. Unacceptable and I'd like to speak to management.

St. Louis officials say several smoke shops around the city have become magnets for violent and illegal activity. But new rules would make it harder to open the shops and easier for the city to intervene when shops become a nuisance.

It could get harder to open smoke shops in St. Louis — and easier for the city to fight bad ones
The city’s Housing, Urban Development and Zoning Committee approved rules that will clamp down on smoke shops in the city.

Monday’s walk was specifically for the purpose of finding the unsecured Spire plates I keep hearing. Every time a car drives over one at night, I hear the wobble and clang of them shifting. They’re required to secure them but the city doesn’t care. Also found some flowers in bloom.

Sunday’s walk was actually a walk audit along Cherokee to assess how the street works and how it could be improved for pedestrians, cyclists and transit riders. We had speakers (I was one) and a group lunch after. Having the alderwoman and business owners helped so much. Nearly 30 people showed up!

It took St. Louis city nearly nine months to tell me they have no responsive record to a fairly simple records request. Here are all the delay emails I received along the way. Nine months.

Safety alone isn't enough to get more women cycling. Cities must start building cohesive networks connecting the myriad places women need to go. This means looking beyond “Can women cycle safely here?” and asking: “Can women use this network to live their lives?” LISTEN: www.dw.com/en/why-arent...

This is sooo St. Louis City government right now- attacking gardeners, gardening, the beauty they bring, the food they provide to pollinators, instead of doing nothing well other than catering to developers. Glad former Alder @annielrice.bsky.social and his attorney gave him good advice. 🧵

I was just kind of excited that it wasn't grass blocking a sidewalk. I spent a lot of time in the streets on this walk. I can't believe I'm finally at a point where I'm kind of relieved when it's a Tree of Heaven instead of grass but it's dark times.
