Not 100%, and no one is arguing otherwise. However, the harms of such behaviors can be reduced. Short of ignition interlocks on every car, you can't prevent all drunk driving. But you can design streets so that when someone does it the risk they pose to others is lessened.
there are some illegal driver behaviors that simply cant be designed away and distracted driving seems to be one.

“You heard the one about cows lying down means there’s going to be a storm?” McNally asked.

I had not.

Cows, he clarified, lie down because they’re tired. But, if you pass a field of cows lying in all different directions, and then a few hours later the cows are all pointed in the same direction, this indicates that the wind has shifted from light and variable to stronger and prevailing, meaning a new weather system is possibly on the way. Cows are considered prey, he explained, and “prey is going to put their tails into the wind.” A predator, catching the cows’ scent, will approach from downwind. The cows, thus, need to face in the direction of whatever predators might be coming to kill them so that they can run away.

Job growth has started to rebound lately, but it's mostly benefitting men. So far this year more than 300,000 women have left the workforce, according to @nwlc.org
WASHINGTON -- About 120,000 people aged 20 and over joined the labor force in May, however those gains were entirely among men while women left the labor force last month, according to a National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) jobs analysis of monthly data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

That brings the total net number of women who have left the labor force so far this year to more than 300,000, NWLC found.

“The numbers reflect the Trump administration's pronatalist agenda to push women out of the workforce and return to a time of strict gender roles,” said Jasmine Tucker, vice president of research at NWLC. “The policies of this administration gave us an idea of what would happen, and now we're seeing the consequences play out in the data."

In May, according to BLS numbers, 191,000 men aged 20 and over joined the labor force and 71,000 women aged 20 and over left the labor force.

It doesn't deliver audience numbers - This really depends on how you slice the data and which stories you're looking at, but if you wanted to find numbers that justify cuts, you could, and if you wanted to find numbers that justified keeping climate stories in the mix, you could find those too;
"Nobody cares about climate" - This is only true if your definition of climate is detailed articles about atmospheric science.
