This is a concept where Dems seem to have adopted the Republican framing. In general, if something can be done profitably, private industry does it. Government exists to deal with things that need to be done but aren't profitable, or with things that are inherently predatory if done profitably.

Huge corporations like Amazon, Walmart, and Uber are among the top employers of SNAP and Medicaid recipients. Meanwhile, their CEOs are raking in multi-million dollar pay packages. How is this not a bigger scandal?

Future generations of military strategists will look back on this moment as the origin of the greatest innovation in strategic thought: admitting the leaders don't know how to win the war we're in and seeing if the E-4 Mafia has better ideas.

A good way of defining the working class versus the rich who need to be eaten is: If you could go into a coma for 10 years and wake up richer than you had been, you are not working class. Literally every billionaire would *make more money* while in a coma. The coma test.

Day one- nominate 4 new Justices, one for each of the currently un-represented circuits. Day two split the 9th CA into three circuits. It's huge and this should be done anyway, but make two new circuits and put two more new Justices on the Supreme Court. Day 3, start pushing test cases.

Everyone thinks billionaires are fine losing money to get what they want. Billionaires are dragons sitting on piles of gold: they notice when any of it goes missing. They'll lose money in the short term to crush rivals or force their will on others, but they won't lose money indefinitely.

For most billionaires, the point of being a billionaire is have the billions. Having that much gives one access to politicians, celebrities, other billionaires, etc., without having to spend it. They'd never give it away because they'd lose what makes them "exceptional."

Narcissists test people to see what they'll put up with. Those who don't tolerate the bad behavior get harshly attacked, and the tests keep escalating because it's not good enough to pass a test already passed. Trump seems to be testing his followers weekly now.
