Unpopular opinion (?): let the “skill games industry” in Pennsylvania die. It was only really popularized by a dubious court case, and actively harms vulnerable people. Replace skill games parlors with RPG shops and get these poor people some therapy.

A Saw-Whet Owl is wrapped in a cosy seafoam coloured garment, looking towards camera with rich sunflower yellow eyes twinkling from a trio of reflected ceiling lights. A syringe of fluid is administered to his open beak by a human wearing lavender nitrile gloves. It's possible he has the barest hint of a scowl in response to the fluids, but it might just be a stray black feather or two, making it look like a raised bottom eyelid. He's a little pink around the maw, probably from his latest meal of diced + defrosted animal treats, being the little carnivore that he is.

It’s bad. It’s not going to be easy for a long time. You’re not alone in feeling that way. To borrow from Mr. Rogers, I take a few minutes a day to think about the people who loved me into being. My teachers, family, mentors, friends, that one random lady that asked me if I was ok. Worth a try?

The Toocheke dev has released an option to pull a tapas site into a wordpress website using their plugin. Wordpress isn't the only option when it comes to websites, but this feature should make it a lot easier for people to make the switch to a website if they want.

I can recommend a heat pump water heater. We replaced our gas unit with one, and I’ve kept it on heat pump mode since with no issues. It’s saved us a ton of of money, even with the additional expense of adding a circuit.

living fossil achievement unlocked 🔓✨ the US Fish & Wildlife Service was sampling near the mouth of the Cuyahoga River and recaptured 3 Lake Sturgeon that were tagged & stocked in 2025 (2 from Rivergate Park, 1 from the Boston Mills area). all 3 have nearly doubled in length in one year's time.
