Pediatricians, Family Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners who work in primary care settings
ECHO Autism bridges the care gap between autism specialists, community health care clinicians, and children on the autism spectrum
How it works
All Teach, All Learn Model
Learn to evaluate, differentiate and diagnose children with unambiguous characteristics of autism between the ages of 14-48 months.
Learn the STAT instrument to support diagnostic decision-making.
Learn and share best practices for managing co-occurring conditions, connecting with community resources, and supporting families.
Receive specific de identified case guidance in a convenient, interactive web-based small-group format.

ECHO Autism:
Primary Care Early Diagnosis
Benefits:
• Learn to evaluate, differentiate and diagnose children with unambiguous characteristics of autism between the ages of 14-48 months
• Receive guidance on longitudinal care including treatment of common medical and psychiatric co-occurring conditions in children on the autism spectrum
• No-cost in-person STAT instrument training
• Free CME Credit: 12 hours for STAT instrument training & up to 3 hours per month for ECHO Autism session attendance
• Free Maintenance of Certification
Credit (MOC-Part 4) 25 points
Commitments:
• Attend an in-person ECHO Autism
STAT instrument training February 26-27th, 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia
• Participate in virtual ECHO Autism:
Primary, Care sessions on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month beginning March 3rd, 2026 for one year
• Complete steps to become reliable on the STAT instrument
• Present diagnostic cases to the
ECHO Autism Hub Team for verification of diagnosis
