With writing prose, I've had the scenario of "wait, what if I change this?" And agonize over a handful of drafts before inevitably realizing my original outline actually was the way to go. Feels very silly every time it happens, but sometimes your brain needs to actually do the work to know for sure

Community is one-third party to restorative justice, but the scale is totally out of whack when literally millions of people and a million more bots can just toss their two cents in. And it's arguable that system also breaks under violent crime. It's not meant to be one size fits all.

Restorative justice is really this thing that only works in very small scales. It comes from indigenous cultures, and was never designed to scale with the size of the internet (I'd argue neither did our brains, but that's another issue).
