The laws possibly need to be reformed. The public need to be protected in cases where there is evidence, clear ongoing evidence, of a serious mental health problem. Couple that with the age of the individual, lack of resources it appears and this should be red flagged.

It is about all of that. When we know who petitioned for the return of the guns that will be revealing. Should an 18 year old individual, who wants to completely transition, who has serious mental health issues & lacking services, own or have access to guns? Guessing most people would argue NO.
