Okay, I will request book recs here for my sister. We are looking for non-fantasy/sf in English, more litfic/classic books that have a relatively easy English. My mind went to Of Mice and Men. Do you guys have any recommendations? She really likes slice of life and wants to practice her English.

Canada is refusing to issue ISBNs to books primarily generated with AI. This illustrates both the urgency of the problem of the growing flood of slop books, and also the toothlessness of addressing it on the honor system without there also being consequences for lying

I had a goal last month to step outside as often as possible and I did 25/30 and I think that’s pretty good! I also think I would not be able to do anything more consistently than this, 1 day off/week is realistic and normal.

Quick drawing of something I really enjoy.

Me coming home and greeting Brioche (a cat sleeping on a rolly cart) by saying "Brioche I'm home!"
He sits up and you can see the left side of his soft round head is concave from where it's been squished against a pillow for several hours.

So I got a nail bed infection on my right hand and while it’s getting better after a sos visit to the dermatologist, I keep realizing how many things I do with my right hand even though I’m left-handed. I knew I had some things that I favor my right for (eg using a mouse), but huh.

My 9 games: Gris, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, The Stanley Parable, Cultist Simulator, Brother Bear, Shrek 2, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

View over tan plains with cholla and distant blue mountains. The sky is blue but pink where the Belt of Venus hits. The moon is vanishing into clouds that cannot be seen as anything but the same shade of blue, and thus looks like a lidded eye.

Broadsheets
Unlimited fonts
Stretch them
Or cram a really long sentence into one line for no good reason
No whitespace
Mix capital and lowercase
Pointing hands

Don't be left behind
Broadsheets are the future
