i expect if they saw me on the street they would try to get away to be entirely fucking honest pretend i wasn’t there at all because they’ve never been willing to acknowledge shit now for years i can only presume they must think i am actually entirely in the wrong i and all the other trash

and then years later kicked me out bcz the same shit without being willing to talk about it like they literally structurally caused years of major trauma for me there is no way it can actually be made right even if they were willing to try and i don’t expect they will ever even acknowledge me

like genuinely i just like requested that we talk in a different location that was more accessible autism wise and they said no and to just proceed as if nothing happened basically i guess (id check records but i was banned, so, cant)

genuinely afaict the biggest harm i caused was other people found it overwhelming to be around me and the solution to that was fairly universally that i should just literally be less present and when i tried to work with them to clarify a more nuanced option they just like said nah sorry nope

i was not a big fucking harm to anyone i was just in distress and partly from how they’d handled shit earlier anyway i just i need to be able to be part of some social thing again but i think i may just be too broken from all that i think the recurse center may have effectively destroyed me

supposedly also being off topic but i was at worst marginally worse there than others like i saw discussion of basically every topic that was remotely defensible in those servers like i will admit i was a lot at the end there but not “ban with no discussion” bad i was not destroying the community

because it literally puts the whole burden of piss poor social design on individuals who did literally nothing ethically wrong at most generally just inconvenient like my offense was talking too much that is why i was kicked out of the largest programmer community talking too much

and then you have to find justifications and there’s either locating the problem in the person and expelling them or locating the problem in the scale and that actually there’s just too much diversity of perspective to hold in one social container but if u treat that second as the first that is bad

i can’t be the center of the solution even if i kind of have to be maybe i must anyway despite it but ugh like how is it just not obvious to be the big single community for the industry you eventually necessarily have to choose sacrificial classes like structurally you have to

so being kicked out after joining and having a scare and them just like not even genuinely trying in the most minimal way appropriate to the problem it was really deeply traumatic like reshaped my life and idk even tho i think we need a network of recurse likes for every subtype i can’t make it

and like i now see ok yea the real problem is u can’t have a single space safe for everyone and like i may actually need to be in a different lil sub community or some shit but their only mechanism was kicking me out with no discussion at all and i already could hardly communicate before i joined
