Usually a battle is between you and your opponent, but when you're up against Bacon, the viral food vlogger behind the YourNextFavoriteMeal social media empire, your battle is between you, your opponent, their recording crew, and their thousands of viewers! #screenshotSaturday #godotEngine #indieDev
A boss battle in Uprooted. The usual combat UI is framed within an online video stream. The streamer, "YourNextFavoriteMeal" is streaming "Fight Stream: Percy's Pickels and some farmer, I guess" to 2720 viewers. The regular battle UI starts the battle with the text "Bacon reminds the viewers that by subscribing to his PhilanthroFee account they can access his content a week before everyone else!" Bacon, a bearded man with sunglasses and a perpetually raised eyebrow, is standing in a giant hot tub. Behind him, an intern is taking a photo of him on her phone. Against the back wall are several awards for having lots of subscribers, an illuminated "On Air" sign, and a window. Behind the window is a control room where a man watches over the stream with a laptop. On the right side of the streaming frame is a chat, where the following messages are being sent:

v34: whos winning
v27: idk i can't see their health bars
v67: let's get a BACON train going!!!
Several users try to spell out "Bacon" one letter at a time, failing and instead spelling "Bacco7aoonn"
v34: nailed it fellas
v22: i had percys pickles a few days ago they werent even that good!!!
v67: anyone else here eating... wait for it... CAKE??
The last message ends with an emoji of an obnoxious face.

A farmer is only as good as the crops they grow! In Uprooted, there are dozens of different crops at your disposal, from fruits and vegetables to mushrooms, eggs, paddy crops, and bees! Each with their own stats and abilities. How will you farm? #screenshotSaturday #gameDev #godotEngine #indieDev
A screenshot of the game Uprooted: Meal Replacement Game. The player, a black farmer with pink hair, is thinking about what type of crop to place on a tile of soil on her field. An inventory menu is open showing the available crops. The selected crop is a Peanut, and several details about it are shown. It has a 3.5 star rating, grows in 13 turns, grows well in Spring and poorly in Autumn and Winter. It is immune to salty soil and weak to fire (which is inaccurate! note to self, fix that lmao). It has 3 abilities: soil boost, shell, and fire forged.

What is Uprooted all about, you ask? Well, it all starts with the CTO of a meal replacement beverage startup who won't take no for an answer, siccing his robots on your farm because you refused to sell out to him! Why does a drink company have a robot army? 🤷‍♂️ #screenshotSaturday #gameDev #indieDev
A screenshot from Uprooted: Meal Replacement Game depicting the player, a black woman with pink hair, standing in the center of her farm. Plants are uprooted, soil is destroyed, and a couch is on fire. Two robots look over the destruction.A robot has approached the player and says "Oh hey you're that farmer I'm supposed to attack! Welp, guess you know what that means! Ha ha!"

A food stand for "fried tea" that emphasizes that "even the cup!" is fried.A horse in a pen is painting with a paintbrush in his mouth. A crowd is watching him, and a child says "Mommy, look! The horse is painting! I want to be a horse when I grow up!"At a tent, the player has spun a wheel to win a prize. The vendor exclaims "Heavens to betsy, it looks like you've earned yourself a stress ball shaped like our logo!"A line of people are waiting in front of a tent labeled "MAGNIFICENT ROCK'S." A man says "Now, son, I know you weren't a fan of the sedimentary rocks I showed you last week, but once you see the metamorphic rocks they have on display here, "boring" will be the last word you use to describe them!"

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 31. If this worked I'd be unstoppable. The end! Back to less exciting posts next year.
A comic depicting some sort of science lab.

Frame 1. Two scientists are looking inside a cage at some sort of creature. The first scientist says "I've never seen anything like it. This species' self-defense mechanism is to post relatable memes mocking their predators online."

Frame 2. The second scientist looks at the first and says "I don't appreciate your attempts at humor, Dr. Medina." The creature turns its head and looks at the scientists, eyes wide, and pings are heard from below them.

Frame 3. The scientists pull out their tablet and phone, which show a meme of the throwing up emoji with the caption “WHEN THE JACKASS WHO SKIMPS ON THE GOOD TREATS TALK SHIT” on the top, and on the bottom “TALKS SHIT TO THE LEAD SCIENTIST.” In the background, the creature is hissing at the second scientist.

A security guard Mark Zuckerberg blocks the entrance to a club. He says to the person trying to enter, "Woah! That's a pretty offensive shirt! Threatening messages like that have no place in this club!"

The person being denied entry is wearing a shirt that reads "I hope the president shits himself to death" on the back.

Inside the club, people can be seen dancing, wearing shirts with Nazi and fascist symbols on them.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 29. Social media is great because years ago the odds of running into some weirdo screaming about minorities was comparatively low but now you can experience that constantly in a nice easy-to-digest feed right in the palm of your hand.
A comic depicting a boba tea shop. A bald white man is standing, naked, in front of the cash register, clenching his fist against his chest and looking down solemnly, a single tear being shed from his closed eyes. His lower half is obscured by a sign that reads "Try our new Boba Meal™!" accompanied by an image of a burger, french fries, and a drink. Instead of meat, the burger has tapioca balls in it.

In front of the register is the sign for "Milky Blobs: Premium Boba Milk Teas" and its menu. Several of the flavors are obscured by the naked man's arm, but the ones that are visible are: Green Tea, Boba Coffee, Campbell's® Boba Noodle Soup, Boba Water, and “Oops! All Boba!” A note next to the menu reads: The blobs in your tea? They're supposed to be there! “Boba” or “bubble tea” is a novel new kind of milky beverage! Yum!

An asterisk is next to the word "new" to imply that this is not actually a new beverage. A woman stands behind the cash register dressed in a "Milky Blobs" apron and is looking at the naked man with concern. She says to him, "Sir, you can't run around naked and shouting slurs at everyone."

He replies, "What happened to my country? I thought we were in a democracy!!"

She responds, "No, we are in a Boba shop. Please leave."

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 27. I like to imagine that the Earth is stuck in a time loop and every few billion years it resets, but every other planet just continues linearly, so aliens like to visit Earth every now and then to see if the Earthlings did anything new on the current loop.
A comic.

Frame 1: An alien leaves their spaceship and approaches an ancient Egyptian man, saying "Take me to your—" and stops. Note that all of the alien's text has strange accents on it.

Frame 2: The alien points at a pyramid in the background and yells "WOAH WHAT THE FUCK!? WHAT THE FUCK IS *THAT*?!"

Frame 3: The Egyptian man replies "uh... a pyramid?"

Frame 4: The alien exclaims "Y'all MADE that shit?!"

Frame 5: The alien puts their hands on their head and continues "THAT'S FUCKING AWESOME!!"

Frame 6: The Egyptian man stares awkwardly at the amazed alien and replies "Uh... thanks?"

Frame 7: The alien lowers their arms.

Frame 8: The alien and man stare at each other in silence.

Frame 9: The alien asks "Have y'all invented batteries yet? I need to charge my iPod." The man asks "Your what?" and the alien replies "Damnit."

The only thing ChatGPT ever does.
Andrew Kadel @DrewKadel@social.coop

My daughter, who's had a degree in computer science for 25 years, posted this about ChatGPT on Facebook. It's the best description I've seen.

Something that seems fundamental to me about ChatGPT, which gets lost over and over again:

When you enter text into it, you're asking "What would a response to this sound like?"

If you put in a scientific question, and it comes back with a response citing a non-existent paper with a plausible title, using a real journal name and an author name who's written things related to your question, it's not being tricky or telling lies or doing anything at all surprising! This is what a response to that question would sound like! It did the thing!

But people keep wanting the "say something that sounds like an answer" machine to be doing something else, and believing it *is* doing something else.

It's good at generating things that sound like responses to being told it was wrong, so people think that it's engaging in introspection or looking up more information or something, but it's not, it's only, ever, saying something that sounds like the next bit of the conversation.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 26. I hope nobody got a new printer for Christmas.
A comic:

Frame 1: A woman stands next to a printer with a smiley face on its screen. She gestures towards it and says "Behold our newest printer model, the XD-NITRO Wireless All-In-One iPrinter Pro Deluxe 7S!"

Frame 2: She shows a screen depicting the logos for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, 5G, Neuralink, and Nintendo DS Local Wireless. She continues, "Connect with Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth, NFC and more!"

Frame 3: She pulls a solar panel out of the printer and adds "Use the built-in solar panel to use it without a power cable!"

Frame 4: She winks at the printer and says "And you'll quickly fall in love with your new digital assistant, Gutenberg, or Guty for short, with his charming personality!" The printer winks back and replies "You're too kind, Aida!"

Frame 5: Various features of the printer are highlighted in quick succession. "There's also a built-in file browser! Apps! Developer API! Social Networking Features! Dark Mode! GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card for Bitcoin mining! Soda Dispenser! Atari Emulator!" Various screens of the printer show it running solitaire, enabling emoji support in the settings menu, an Atari game, the printer making an ecstatic face as it shoots soda into a cup, and a message that “Jeff likes “Divorce Papers.pdf”” when the social media features are mentioned.

Frame 6: Several journalists are watching the press conference. One asks "How well does it print?"

Frame 7: Back on stage, the woman angrily throws a smoke bomb and yells "THIS CONFERENCE IS OVER!" The printer is now shooting papers out erratically and making a pained face, exclaiming "Oopsie, I made a Fucky-Wucky!" Various error messages appear, reading Low Ink! Error! Paper Jam! Toner!

A simple one for #ArtAdventCalendar Day 25, and the only one even tangentially related to Christmas (I originally drew all of these in October, so a snowman is the closest we'll get).
A drawing of a Polaroid photo, with "Jeofry's First Day of Work 10-11-84" written in ink in the corner. The photo depicts a Snowman putting on a hat, ready to go outside. There is a pocket formed in his chest with a pen in it, and with his other hand he is holding a briefcase. He is wearing shorts, which very buff pronounced legs are sticking out of, with white socks and shoes. Next to him is a small dog made of snow. His facial expression is difficult to describe, but I've been watching the Great British Bake-Off a lot lately and those limey bastards use the word "chuffed" a lot, so I'd describe his face as "straight chuffed to be here."

Outside the window a generic American suburban neighborhood is visible. Notably, the sun has a smiley face on it that also appears to be made of coal, much like the snowman's smile.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 24. If something is true, it must be true in ALL languages!
A scientist is holding a stack of papers, and holding in their other hand a single paper that has the word "team" written in several languages on it. They say "The results are in, sir. Of 67 Latin-alphabet based languages, 35 of them have an “I” in “team.”"

In front of them, another scientist holds their head in frustration and replies, "Damn it... welp, back to the drawing board."

In the background is a white board, with the following phrases crossed out: dog is god backwards. assuming makes an ass of u and me. realize real lies real eyes. The next phrase, circled, is "there's no I in team." The final phrase is "a picture is worth 1000 words."

In case you wanted to see them, the words on the first scientist's paper are: iqembo, equipo, tim, sgioba, takim, lið, tiimi, team, koox, tawager, meeskond, topary, jamoa, egbe.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 23. This is a callout for myself. #usGamers #epicGaming #horrorGames
A comic about videos games.

Frame 1. A woman is sitting on a couch holding a Dreamcast controller. She says "Alright, time to play some Murder Hut II."

Frame 2. The game's brightness screen. It shows the silhouettes of 3 skulls, with one clearly visible, one barely visible, and one all black. Text on the screen reads "Brightness: Please adjust the brightness so that the middle skull is barely visible." She says "Adjust the brightness, huh?"

Frame 3. She says "Let me just..." as she brightens the screen.

Frame 4. The screen gets even brighter. The middle skull is very visible now.

Frame 5. The screen is even brighter. The left skull is now visible too, and has a condescending face. She says "And... Perfect! Wait a second..."

Frame 6. She asks "What's with that patronizing-ass look on that last one?!"

Frame 7. She asks "Do you have a problem with my settings, buddy?"

Frame 8. The skull's face changes to be even more judgemental. She yells "DON'T YOU FUCKING LOOK DOWN ON ME!!"

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 22. I love when things I drew several years ago are still relevant now, it's such a fun thing to see. It's just a great time all around.
The image is captioned "If video rental stores had been more like YouTube..."

A woman is returning a DVD to Blockbuster. The cashier is smiling at her, and next to him on the counter is a candy dispenser with the text "can't movies without candy!" on it. The woman is wearing a necklace depicting an egg being cracked.

Woman: Oh hey man! That movie you recommended last week? Snakes On a Plane? It was great!

Cashier: Awesome! If you liked that then you'll probably love Lizards on a Ship, or Sharks on a Vespa!

Woman: Excellent! Let me write these down real--

Cashier: Or Triumph of the Will!

Woman: ...Wait, wasn't that the, uh, Nazi movie?

Cashier: Oh my goodness I'm so sorry; that was so inappropriate of me to suggest that! I know you don't like foreign films! My sincerest apologies! Anyway, the Birth of a Nation should be right up your alley!

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 21. Good thing this one I drew a few years ago isn't topical anymore! Ha ha ha!
A man is sitting at a computer wearing VR goggles and a t-shirt that reads "GAMER: Good At Making Epic Racisms." He is talking to a woman who is leaning on a machine next to him. He says "I love working in the tech industry! We're always able to develop cutting edge technologies that nobody has ever made before!" The woman responds by asking "has it occurred to you that maybe some of these things SHOULDN'T be made?" The man replies "Ew, what the fuck. I didn't play Overwatch through all of my Gen Ed classes for you to lecture me about ethics."

The machine the woman is leaning on is labeled "Infant Deatomizer (Beta Version). The man's computer monitor reads “You have lost $32,000 or 1.6 bitcoin.” In the background a sign with smiley faces on it reads “Don't Be Evil” with asterisks after the words “Don't” and “Evil.”

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 20. A fun two-parter where I pitched a fun children's show where Mr. Thinks would reach kids about different actions and the tools that could help them in performing those actions. It would've been quality content for children ages 4-9, but unfortunately, Mr. Thinks died.
A man with a nice shirt and a bow tie is looking stumped, standing below a large cliff. He says "Holy Hollandaise sauce, am I glad YOU'RE here, Kid Cadets! I'm in a real pickle! I need to CLIMB this ledge! I need to GO UP it! But I need your help! Can you tell me which of these items will help me CLIMB this ledge?"

Next to him are several items, all labeled: ladder, Oklahoma, silver platter, cornucopia, Slinky®, Glock 22 Gen4 Semi-Automatic Pistol, .40 S&W 4.48" barrel, 15 rounds, and a green plush toy named Mr. Buggsby. The same man from the previous image is now falling and shrugging. He is saying "Well, Kid Cadets, I don't know how you did it, but you f---ked up so bad in picking an item for me that NOT ONLY did it fail to help me CLIMB the cliff, but now I'm FALLING down a different one! I will be DEAD soon! My blood is on your hands and in my final moments I will pray to the God of Murder to avenge me and kill you in your sleep!"

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 19. This is the last Curse of the Dragon Prophet cover I drew, back in 2022. Then in 2023 I decided not to do the whole Draw Something Every Day In October thing so I could focus on game development, and skipped it in 2024 and 2025, too. Maybe there'll be more some day...
A book cover for “Curse of the Dragon Prophet XI: The Paradox of Biblical Proportions or: How I Learned To Stop Asking Things Like “Wait How Can You Be Your Own Grandpa That's Not How Linear Time Works” or “How Can That Sentence Be False” and Love the Logic Bomb” by Needledick “Jason Mraz” Shitters.

The protagonist, a blue pointy-eared man with a Penrose Triangle on his head, and a weird baby faced guy, are running away from a group of other blue pointy-eared people with Penrose Triangle foreheads, all led by a floating priest.

The protagonist is wearing a shirt that just reads "no no no no no no NO" and is carrying a large bag labeled “Weed of Theseus.” The baby faced guy has pinkish red skin, devil horns, and very tiny wings. His face is disproportionately small on his head, he has a wide frame, and is wearing a pointy red shirt, revealing his very hairy chest.

The blue people in the background chasing them include one carrying a serrated forked knife, one T-Posing, one with an uncomfortably wide-eyed smile, and one with a bow and arrow, a ponytail, and boobs, with a shirt that reads “the girl one.”

The priest has green hair, a scar on their left eye, has lightning emanating from their body, and is holding a staff with an Impossible Trident on the end.

Further in the background is a blimp labeled "Adequate ⚡ Week" with a rope hanging out of it, which more blue people are descending from. In the sky is a sun with a crescent moon on it.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 18. This is the one where you roll your eyes and say "Oh, look who took a single Art History course in college" but then the joke would be on you, because the reality is that I just spend too much time on Wikipedia and that's how I learned about all these things.
The book cover for “Curse of the Dragon Prophet XIV: Okay So It's like That One Movie Where All the Museum Stuff Comes to Life at Night but Instead of Like a History Museum It's a Museum of Like Modern Art and Other Really Weird Stuff You Don't Want Being Alive, and They're Stuck in It” by Needledick “Jason Mraz” Shitters.

In the foreground, the protagonist looks behind with their usual shocked face. A purple owl with a similar shocked face is on their shoulder. Behind them is an anarchist librarian or something looking pensive. Behind them both are several art pieces coming to life.

A painting of various colored rectangles has rectangles piercing out of the frame like knives, barely missing a shocked man, who is wearing a hat labeled "Brad" and holding a can of Campbell's soup. Above him is another purple owl, flying and carrying a large bag labeled "Bird Weed."

Behind them is another painting, which a strange misshapen humanoid form is walking out of. Behind this, Marcel Duchamp's Fountain - a urinal - runs around with legs. Behind this, water pours out of a painting's frame, and the girl from Roy Liechtenstein's painting Drowning Girl is, understandably, drowning.

In the background another cubist portrait comes to life, and on the ground is one of the melting clocks from Salvador Dalí's The Persistence of Memory, slithering towards the protagonists.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 17. I like the title of this one. Much simpler than most of the others, but I think it's a solid goof.
A book cover for “Curse of the Dragon Prophet VI: The Pen Is Usually Mightier Than the Sword but Someone Wrote the Nuclear Launch Codes on This One!” by Needledick “Jason Mraz” Shitters.

The protagonist and two other characters are running down a trail, fleeing from the Dragon Prophet - who is chasing them in a cartoonish fashion - and several winged bat-like minions, one of whom has a full human body and overly detailed feet and has a hunting rifle strapped to its back. In the background, the a very large moon is visible with a small shocked face watching everything.

The protagonist is holding a partially unsheathed sword with "69420" written on the revealed part, and is wearing a shirt that reads "wife guy." Behind them is a nerdy looking man in a hoodie with glasses and vampire bangs. Behind him is a humanoid creature with a spiky grey body, with the Super Nintendo controller buttons instead of nipples. The creature is smiling and holding a pot of gold labeled "Gold Weed."

Switching back to Netscape Navigator, I guess. But in seriousness, Firefox will always be a niche browser for people who don't want what Google is offering... so trying to turn Firefox into the same thing as Chrome seems like a truly impressive case of not understanding their user base.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 16. If every image had this much stuff in it, I'd be a bit more hesitant to keep the "require alt text for all images" feature on. But it's the right thing to do! And also fun fact for you the person reading this: that's a feature you can enable! In Bluesky settings! Do it!
The book cover for “Curse of the Dragon Prophet XXIV: That's It, I Give Up. I Haven't Written a Good Book in This Series in at Least Half a Decade. I'm Handing These Characters over to the Fandom. I Don't Care. Go Nuts, You Nerds. Thanks for All the Money.” by Needledick "Jason Mraz" Shitters.

The cover depicts a grassy hill with a golden path leading back into the horizon, where a mountain range is visible. A blue and green Captain Planet-like giant peeks out from the mountains. From back to front, the following other things are on the path:

A robed cultist with Bart Simpson's hair smirking and flipping off the reader.
An orange man with horns and a fox tail shrugging and smirking like a smug stand-up comedian.
A fan taking a selfie with a fire spirit. Needledick Shitters sitting on the ground, sadly looking at a manuscript.
Another cultist with a Bart Simpson face.
A priest nervously gives a thumbs up to a fan showing him a book labeled "Sexy Fanfic of Sex."
The Dragon Prophet, very unamused, looking at a fan in a Dragon Prophet costume.
Another cultist, looking at the protagonist.
The Nostalgia Critic arguing with a fan, who is holding a Dragon Prophet figurine in one hand and a book in the other.
A character from one of the older books, a woman with red and green earrings and a blue necklace, looking sadly down at a "worst character" ribbon draped around her.
Another character from one of the older books, a witch with skeleton earrings, a curved dagger, and crocs, looking up uncomfortably at a "most shippable" crown on her head.
An imp looking scared.
The protagonist making their usual shocked face, wearing a shirt that depicts a crossed out cup of tea and the text “banned tea”, holding a bag labeled “Tired Jokes.”
A pizza slice with arms and legs.
A cultist with a Homer Simpson face looking at a fan, who is nervously reading this book.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 15. The Curse of the Dragon Prophet book series even got its own movie adaptation, complete with whitewashing the main character, getting basic elements of the series completely wrong, bad special effects, and Tobey Maguire!
A fake movie poster for "Legend of the Dragon Prophet," based on the bestselling novels by Needledick “Jason Mraz” Shitters, starring Scarlett Johansson, Andrew W.K., Tobey “Tugboat” Maguire, and Rupert Grint.

In the foreground is Scarlett Johansson, dressed as the series' protagonist, looking down with a shocked expression at an ornate book with the logo for The Sun tabloid written on it. Behind her is a garbage bag labeled “Mom's Vape Juice.”

Behind her is a cast of characters, including:
A Dobby Funko Pop.
Tobey Maguire mimicking his mocking shocked expression from Spider-Man 3, with black hair and a symbol tattoo, wearing a fancy necklace and a t-shirt with the words “Normal Shirt” written on it.
A Doberman.
Some sort of priest with a scar on their eye, red earrings, and wavy blue hair.
A smug white guy with his arms crossed.
A round angry floating bald guy with "FUCK" written on his shirt.

Behind everyone is the Dragon Prophet, looking down on everyone from the sky. His face is made with cheap rubber, like a puppet from a low-budget 80s movie.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 14. Drew this in 2019, a whole year after that last one, so clearly I was still determined to show JK Rowling a thing or two here. I'm proud of the witch with crocs.
A book cover for “Curse of the Dragon Prophet VII: Barry Stotter, the Enchantress' Stone, and the Lawsuit From a Writer Whose Garbage Book Series is NOTHING LIKE Mine so I Don't See What the Big Fucking Deal Is, Joanne! Get Off My Ass!” by Needledick “Jason Mraz” Shitters.

In the foreground, the protagonist is wearing their usual attire with a shirt reading "a pod cast" and is looking at their arm, which has a lightning bolt tattoo burned into it.

In the background, a woman is struggling to hold a door shut as a hand holding a Cease and Desist and a tentacle try pushing it open. She has dark black makeup, long dark purple hair, a blue headband, skeleton earrings, a curved purple dagger, a pentagram necklace, and crocs. Next to her is a bag labeled "Muggle Weed" with the word "Muggle" crossed out and "Regular" written above it.

Next to her is a small imp with a halo, nervously watching her while holding a red chaos emerald.

On the wall are various portraits, one of which with a hole cut in the eye and someone angrily peeking through it to watch everything. Above that is a mounted hunting rifle with "Live, Laugh, Love" written in cursive on the placard.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 13. Drew this in 2018, and I was probably already behind the curve then calling out JK Rowling for trying her best to destroy her reputation as a Beloved Children's Book Author in the name of transphobia. Somehow 7 years later the memo still hasn't reached everyone yet.
A book cover for “Curse of the Dragon Prophet II: Jolted Awake by the Recurring Nightmare of Becoming the Protagonist of a Neverending Media Franchise Written by an Increasingly Problematic Writer Who Refuses to Quit While They're Ahead” by Needledick “Jason Mraz” Shitters.

In the foreground the protagonist is sitting up in bed, with the same shocked face as usual. They are wearing pajamas with "ankle aficionado" written on them, and a sleepytime hat with various sports balls on it. Resting on another pillow is a bag labeled "Sleepytime Tea," with the word "Tea" crossed out and "Weed" written underneath it. A round creature is crawling underneath the bedsheets.

In the background a caricature of Needledick Shitters looks down ominously at his desk, pen in hand, writing on a sheet of paper. He has a purple afro and a spiky mustache, and is wearing suspenders and a bow tie. He has an angel and devil on each shoulder, with the devil resembling the Twitter bird logo.

On the paper is written "Curse of the Dragon Prophet Book 38."

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 12. Pretty bad writing by Needledick to pivot his fantasy series into sci-fi in just the third book.
The book cover for "Curse of the Dragon Prophet III: In Space I Guess" by Needledick "Jason Mraz" Shitters. The protagonist is looking at the camera with their hands on their face, Home Alone style, and is wearing a space suit. They are on a spaceship, which is approaching a planet. On the screen, a green outline is around the planet, with the message "Now Approaching: Planet Urbuttjoke." The screen also identifies "South Pole" and "Tjlavoxnar."

Floating above the protagonist is a little green ghost alien thing with two antennas and a stern, serious, face. To the right is a big floating bag labeled "Space Weed."

On the spaceship's console, from left to right, are:

The W A S D keys of a computer keyboard, with no other keys.

A car's ignition with a Honda car key in it.

A blue button.

A screen with Pong playing on it.

Two red buttons labeled EJECT and NACHOS.

A big pink circle with two yellow semicircle buttons in it, labeled DOUG and FASTER, similar to those of the old Tiger Electronics Doug handheld game.

A big lever.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 11. Like 5 years after I had drawn the previous one, I was inspired to make a squeakquel for Inkt*ber. Probably my least favorite of them, but you gotta see the worst before you can see the best! I do still like the FOIA joke, though.
A book cover for "Curse of the Dragon Prophet IX: The Secrets of the Curmudgeon Dungeon That Are Too Much for any Mere Mortal (or Craig) to Comprehend are Revealed to All Mankind Due to the Freedom of Information Act and also Purple Magic," written by Needledick "Jason Mraz" Shitters.

In a narrow hallway stand three characters, looking forward. The protagonist (as described in the previous post, blue hair, big nose, feathered hat) shines a flashlight forward and looks ahead with his standard shocked face. His shirt now reads "boobie boy" and his jacket is damaged and has a skull pendant on it. In his other hand is a large bag labeled "Dad's Weed."

Behind the protagonist is a concerned woman, with a red earring on one ear, a green one on the other, and a blue necklace. Her pink t-shirt has the words "1,000,000 crawdads" written on it. Her left arm is handcuffed to itself, and her right arm has a rune-like tattoo on it. She is holding a large sword with both hands.

Behind both of them is a wizard-looking dude with green hair and a devious smile, who is summoning an energy ball.

Ahead of them, a shadow is cast of a strange creature that looks kind of like a rabbit's head with a heart on top on a humanoid body.
