The aux had range at PR Day. Reverence and ridiculousness, back to back, and nobody had to choose. One squatted 260 lbs to Ice Cream Tiger. Another credited "the power of Slayyyter." We can't verify the science. The vibe was real. hantrainingchicago.com/pr-day-2026-…

On a day that celebrates freedom, here is one snapshot of how it’s denied irl. The June 30th SCOTUS ruling says: some bodies don’t belong in movement. But less access to movement makes health gap built on purpose, over time. Read more: www.instagram.com/p/DaWUm7tE1RU/ #TransRightsAreHumanRights
Current events slide about the US Supreme Court ruling on trans girls in school sports. Large text says the Court ruled that states can ban trans girls from school sports teams, notes that 27 states already have laws like this, and says trans teens already play school sports at about half the rate of their cis classmates. Citation: Espinoza et al., 2023, Journal of Adolescent Health.Advocacy slide connecting exclusion from school sports and movement spaces to the broader health gap. Large text says the ruling sends the message that some bodies do not belong in movement, rejects that message, and argues that reduced fitness access is not a personal failing but a health gap built over time that shows up in mental health and chronic illness risk.Text slide about barriers to fitness access for trans people and many BIPOC people. Large text reads: "Here's something that doesn't trend much. Trans and many BIPOC folks move their bodies less, not because we don't want to, but because so many movement spaces were never built to be safe for us."Call to action slide introducing Han Training and Project Liftyboi. Large text says Han Training is a trauma-informed gym, body-neutral and designed for fitness access rather than exclusion, and that Project Liftyboi helps close the income gap for trans people and queer and trans people of color who need Han Training most. Final lines invite people to try a class or chip in and to "close the gap, one lift at a time."

Some of us study pelvic health for years. Bunny just knew the most advanced move was a nap on her favorite human’s chest. 🐾 Raising funds via @projectliftyboi.bsky.social for QTPOC + disabled fitness scholarships at our affirming strength gym in #Chicago. #HanTraining #pelvichealth #queerfitness.

Free community defense whistles available. This is a proven mutual defense tactic and a defining part of Chicago's resistance. Come grab one for yourself and a few for your neighbors. No questions asked. This is what it means to be a community. #CommunityDefense #MutualAid #Chicago #Sanctuary

We are still buzzing from the #Halloween parade @northalsted.bsky.social. Tram HT dressed as #KpopDemonHunters. Can you identify all the characters? #HauntedHalsted #Northalsted #Boystown #Chicago #HanTraining #Cosplay #HalloweenCostumes #KPDH #OurBodiesAreOurBirthright #LGBTQ+ #QTPOC #BIPOC
A lively group of Han Training members and staff poses in their Kpop Demon Hunters costumes on a crowded street during the Haunted Halsted nighttime parade.

The group is the center of attention, with parade spectators lining the sidewalk behind them. In the foreground, blue Derpy Tiger crouches on all fours on the pavement. Behind Derpy was Minky as Rumi holding a box of Dr Han drink packs. To the left, another person in an all-black ensemble with a wide-brimmed hat and intricate white face paint patterns smiles at the camera as Jiho. Behind Jiho was GwiMa and Susie the Magpie crouching, and Zoey with her popcorn eyes waving at the camera.

To the right of Derpy is the drag king version of a beefy Abby. Baby Saja in a white tank top and a colorful striped hat holds up a handwritten sign reading, "NOBODY PUTS BABY IN A CORNER" next to Mira in a white dress.

Behind them, the rest of the group holds a large black banner that says "Our Bodies Are Our Birthright HAN TRAINING". The atmosphere is festive and full of energy.
