It's not just that he was such a great writer or the modern day equivalent of Dickens and Swift. He was very funny and probably inspired more writers than any other modern writer in England. I laughed so hard on the London metro once, people asked what I was reading. Plus genuinely a nice guy.

I’m very glad Reading Rainbow is being revived as a long time lover of the program. My main hope is that they showcase a large variety of book authors and not just celebrities who have written books. I hope we go beyond follower count/fame and highlight books by folks pushing the medium.
