Dreamcatcher (2003) starts v well but the 2nd half is an abomination, with the tension of the chase totally eliminated and no bacon! Ha! Damian Lewis has some cringy moments as Jonesy and Freeman is just not dangerous enough as Kurtz. The kids act their bits well. Last 10mins are wtf?! 4/10

I feel I need to wade into this AI thing as every time I go into YouTube I'm flooded with them now - stop. Just stop. Go back to creating your own Doctors and stories. Using likenesses of actors no longer with us (and some that are!) Is disrespectful to their families. How do you think they feel?

A struggle to get through and understand, much like the ❄️ Didn't flow at all like other Kings - how many layers of person was there for instance? I like it a lot. The angels are scary, the time zones plot device works brilliantly and I like Prof Jericho as temporary companion. Oh, and the little girl had a tough time, but she ends up alright in the end. Who says so? I do!

Statues Are Scary Again, as Chibs & Alderton go full-on parapsychologist-lab-under-siege, building on some of the tricks & twists conjured by Moffat (image of an Angel, stone dust in the eye, etc.) to proper spooky effect. Ann Bell is magnificent as she reveals her repulsive Nazi like views. 7 turning up asking if he can borrow sugar 😂 the setting and the tension are gloriously portrayed as we expect the Mau Mau to turn up. McGann is very energetic to be around, liked his monologues musing over what he's doing and reading. Gareth Thomas excels as Lord Tamworth, who has a real journey. Those aliens reminded me of the Zeraphin! A bright and breezy start to the 8th Doctor audios. Charley is played with relish. #MiniKettle

Terrific, slow build tension as Linoge (expertly played with quiet menace by Colm Feore) sets out his plan, along with his blood tipped catchphrase. The storm is wonderfully filmed and depicted. I also hate that bloody tune 🫖 you lose a heartbeat in the closing scene. 8/10 #StephenKingRevisited

The cover missed a trick as the mandrels are described as dripping in mud and roaring in the book. Tryst is revealed as the 'poisoner' to Rigg's drink and some other plot points are tidied up a bit. The ship has carpets! 😂👍 a straight retelling really rather than beefing it up this one

The much vaunted episode 4 cliffhanger is fabulous. One thing the Doctor has overlooked in his plan. That's great! This should be lauded much more for Williams actually getting it to screen. Yes the production is flawed at times but he got it made on film, studio and OB. His Greatest Show triumph
