A ceramic test tile and a small sample of wild clay lying side by side on a clay-splattered concrete floor, shot from above. The test tile is rounded at the top and dark orange with a fine crackled texture. It is matte and dry-looking. The wild clay sample is tan like nut butter. It is hard but still somewhat moist, broken into small chunks.
