This is how we should see these magnificant animals, not hauled up on a boat or in fillets on a slab. We should no more catch or kill this rare and stunning megafauna than we should trap or kill tigers or whales. Here are some more of Rupert’s photos from yesterday, with his kind permission.

If you want to make sure that your site can be manipulated agentically by Meta's Muse, do not block traffic from ASN AS32934, because if you did that, it might make it impossible for the Muse agents to reach your site. 🤡

I've started collecting dates for various photography related markets/events in southern Germany & Austria (mostly Tirol) for the coming ~9 months. If you know about other such events (esp. for fine art photography prints), I'd highly appreciate any pointers and I'll add them to this list. Thank […]

@lotographia Yeah, it's every bit as contrived and probably more irritating than the Saturn V - less fragile, but that clusterfuck of nonsense on the left is completely different the the quite pleasant building on the right and a minor nightmare to make sure […] [Original post on river.geek.nz]

The internal structure of the Lego Tintin moon rocket - I really can't describe what is going on here other than it being the least enjoyable lego build I have done and raises the question was it the product of a slop engine?

Wow, #RNZ really did a bad one with their article about the Stuff debate. Starting with the caption on the photo, stating it's the "first _televised_ debate". It wasn't televised. Then, their entire analysis is "We threw it in AI to get a transcription, then counted the things", basically... So […]
