Hi Kameron, I just received a new-follower notification from Mastodon from someone that purports to be you. That seemed unlikely, so in case it's an imposter, their username is @kmrnhrllk@mastodon.social

Medieval peasant: We should in prove society somewhat.
Nearby person: Yet you participate in society. Curious! I am very intelligent.

Hey folks. In total honesty my tour is NOT selling well. I’ve sold 30 tickets in a 400 seater in Birmingham, and not much more elsewhere. If you like musical comedy, if you like standup, then please come see my show! And spread the word! The Rachel Parris Songbook tour starts in Nov! Link in bio! 🎶

Even in the USA, there are a few plague cases every year, and occasionally deaths. This is NOT plague coming back, because it never went away.

Regarding Jane Doe and Cornell, this is something of which I was unaware...
It is extremely hard to secure a rape conviction, and that’s not the fault of victims. In New York, there’s a legal loophole in place that protects perpetrators if their victims had willingly become intoxicated before they were assaulted. Even if you were inebriated past the point of being able to consent, in New York, that isn’t necessarily a crime. This is something anti-rape activists have been fighting to change for years.

75GW of demand is a staggering figure. Essentially TRIPLES, at *best*, the nation's energy consumption. How can any sane government even contemplate allowing this? The AI bubble cannot pop soon enough.
AI datacentres use a massive amount of electricity to power servers and cooling equipment, and to run facility systems. There are 315 datacentres in the queue to connect to the UK’s electricity grid, representing 73GW of demand. This is almost double the peak winter energy demand for the entire UK.
