Faced with the issue of how to transport this pooch to New York in the middle of the pandemic, the composer tried writing to the airline for special dispensation. The airline wrote back and said, "Can you prove that you really need him?" "Just see what Hollywood did to my musical Cats." The approval came back with a note, "No doctor's report required."3

I take it back, sorry. It seems he wasn't banned (AFAIK). the issue appears to be that he *hasn't been banned yet*. Numerous mentions of the ToS being changed to avoid banning him, despite his transphobia and harrassment.

I've been trying to find out this morning also. As fas as I can make out, a transphobe/right-wing figure (name unknown) has been allowed back onto the platform after being banned, and bsky have changed the ToS to allow that, despite this person's continued awfulness.

Back when I was a teacher (90s) a kid came to the staff-room door yelling that another kid was being beaten up. A teacher asked "Who is it?" and was told it was a kid we all knew to be a malicious little sod. We all looked at each other and said in unison, "We'll be out in a minute".

If you don't mind it looking a bit ugly, you could always fix it with Sugru. I had a similar disaster with a tea mug that I couldn't bear to throw away (it was a present). Dried it throroughly on a radiator and sugru-ed it together again. 8 years and counting.
