If the owners are dismissed, and banned from any future involvement in football, then I think the FA would be able to find a place for them in the EFL. Without that fans of other clubs are bound to protest. City as a club can only survive without the current owners.

A thing I learned about Meta when I was trying to understand how their statements relate to their actions a few years ago is that *they just tell absolutely indefensible lies* and journalists almost always let them. They believed no one would ever punish them for it in any way that matters.

I think you’re right in some countries - including us in some years. That said, I think the overall quality is poor and most of the time, people who would consider themselves true artists wouldn’t even consider competing. But I have quite wonky, non-mainstream taste so…ymmv
