Dallas Brodie and OneBC out here doing anti-Indigenous racism, masks off, day-to-day lives and in their election platform. #bcpoli
from ONEBC platform:
Reconciliation

1

Repeal DRIPA and declare UNDRIP to have no force and effect in BC

2

Halt all voluntary transfers of cash, land, and control over public resources to band governments

3

Restore oversight and accountability for Indigenous Band spending

4

Demand constitutional reforms to repeal the Indian Act, transform reserves into townships, and unite all British Columbians under one law and political framework.

5

Restore the original names of public institutions and public places — Names must primarily be in English

6

End the practice of mandatory land acknowledgements within the government and government-funded institutions.

The youngest person his pager attack killed was 9-year-old Fatima Abdullah, who had just started 4th grade. The pager was on a table when it went off and she picked it up to take to her dad. It exploded in her face and reports said it covered the room in her blood. She wanted to learn English.

An account posts “Carney is out here paying homage to John A. MacDonald and the National Policy.” Jason Kenney, former Alberta premier and Conservative cabinet minister, quote tweets while writing: “It's an inflection point: the end of the quasi-official cancellation of our founding Prime Minister.

Now let's put the statues back, reverse @ParksCanada's appalling mistreatment of Sir JAM's Kingston home, etc., and never again allow a fringe ideological faction to vandalize our history.”

There's a lot of prominent journalists that (for whatever reason) remain on Twitter, confident that swimming in sewage on a daily basis has no discernable impact on their journalistic output or worldview. It's rank delusion.

And...... *how* was the entire Canadian Pacific Railway built in just four years, Pierre
Last week, Alto’s CEO confirmed that “real construction” won’t start until 2030, a year later than the Liberals originally announced in December. He also confirmed that it would take seven years just to build the section between Ottawa and Montreal. By comparison, the entire Canadian Pacific Railway, which linked the country from coast to coast, was built in just four years.
