Motherwell and St Mirren fans both displayed banners yesterday calling for a £25 cap on away tickets. An away ticket for Rangers v Motherwell was £39 and for St Mirren v Celtic was £37. Too many supporters being priced out of the game. It's time for clubs to listen to fans!

Best wishes to the people of Iceland in the their referendum today. Iceland has a tenth of the population of Scotland and has always chosen its own relationship to the EU. All of Europe has its fingers crossed for a Yes vote. This would also be an instructive case for Scotland's EU accession.

A bit silly to call Ian Paisley "Protestant religious leader", as if he ruled over all protestants. His Free Presbyterians had around 10,000 adherents in NI when he was alive. Most protestants I know - including my wife - wanted nothing to do with him or what he represented
