When Twitter had its layoffs, their analytics just kept getting worse until it didn't work anymore. Today, the online passport application for Form DS-11 is broken. It was working a couple of weeks ago. I must print out a PDF version and fill it out by hand and mail it.

The throughline that I keep returning to is: -they collectively decided that Musk’s takeover of Twitter went *great*. -so they’ve taking that same approach to the entire federal bureaucracy. -instead of server crashes and error messages, medicaid breaks and a plane full of kids crashes.
