Yep. My kid read an article about "cancel culture" in school and JKR was listed as an example of a celebrity that people boycott "for their actions", but it didn’t say what she had done. The teacher didn't know - but my kid did, so now her class does too. But the average Dutchie has no idea.

I always tell myself I'll be okay when Frits crosses the rainbow bridge b/c he's had a long and good life, but in 2024 he had a VERY narrow escape and when it became clear he was going to make it I had a literal crying screaming breakdown at 2AM because I'd been so worried. 😭 (He's 100% fine now!)

I love how our garden provides animals with food all year round. Right now our ivy is in bloom and it's absolutely buzzing with all kinds of solitary bees and other winged creatures. Come Winter, it'll be filled with berries, which delight the birds. One pigeon will stop for berries every afternoon!
