Fun fact, this is one of my top 20 fave novels, I pull it down every few years. I see the gaps & cracks I didn't when I was 13; doesn't matter. Anyway, my #sundaysentence is a contemplation of emotional bumps in the road: "You'll never get anything done if you walk around with an unchipped heart."

It’s a beach at dawn .  There is a line of birds right where waves meet sand, the clouds scattered across the sky are puffy gray, deep blue, and pink. These colors are reflected in the water.
