Maybe --- just maybe, mind you --- we need to have a long conversation about Schmitt's "criminal falsification of evidence against a witness." Which, as I believe, violates 18 U.S. Code § 1519, (falsifying records in federal investigations) with the penalty being "imprisonment for up to 20 years."
