I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Stay free

Its very rarely spoken off,but without China the USA would have suffered far greater casualties in WW2. Its entirely possible that without their sacrifice that the USA might have lost the war before the atom bomb was finished.

It seems if an Iranian protester is shot by law enforcement the US president will bomb the authorities, but if a US protester is shot by law enforcement the President will blame the victim.

I fail to understand that when, as a nation, the police recieve a domestic abuse call on average every 30 seconds why the Tories are objecting to a programme designed to teach youngsters about consensual relationships and reasonable behaviour. Its as if they want the circle of abuse to be perpetual

Whilst it is clear that Baroness Mone should be stripped of her title and persuaded for every penny through the courts, why is the other £10b, at least,of stolen taxpayers money not being chased properly. Why are these people not being named and shamed? Is it all a smokescreen?

On the eve of the 2016 Brexit referendum, the Daily Mail published a long editorial with 10 reasons to leave the EU. Reason 5 was too many immigrants from Eastern Europe. Yesterday, they put out a piece moaning about the huge number of Poles who've left the UK since Brexit.
5. HOW TO CONTROL OUR BORDERS

Currently there’s no upper limit on migration and no proper control of our borders. More than three million EU migrants live in the UK — double the number in 2004 when the EU expanded to include Eastern European countries, who have sent more than a million people here (despite the last Labour Government saying it would be only 13,000 a year.)

Net migration from EU countries to the UK, according to official figures, is 184,000 a year — enough to fill a city the size of Oxford. David Cameron has never hit his target to reduce net migration to the tens of thousands — and most agree he never will if we remain inside the EU.The great Polish exodus: The arrival of 100,000s of Poles changed the face of Britain, but now they're returning home in droves for a better life in their low-tax, booming homeland. Could there be a more damning indictment of our decline?

I recognise that there are people on benefits who could and should be working. However, the relentless othering of welfare recipients including the disabled and the mentally ill is a kick back to 1930s Germany again. Lets not ctrate more scapegoats for the permanently angry.

Just for context the claim that people in benefits could get an equivalent to a £71000 salary would require both parents and at least one child to be dialsabled and to live in a high rent home (probably due to disabilities). You know, the very people society should be supporting!

Interesting comment I read today, sorry I don’t remember who to credit, but Farage was adamant that Shamima Begum was perfectly capable of understanding the consequences of her actions at 14 but a well educated middle class 18 year old can spout racist bile because it’s only banter!

I was suspicious of the Conservative claim that they could save £45b from the welfare bill, clearly indicating that benefit street is a thing. Oddly this claim seems wildly optimistic see what you think…

Its interesting researching the Reeves warnings about fiscal headroom prior to the Budget. She never mentioned a £30b blackhole,as far as I can see ever. Its also true to say that a £4.2b surplus is not a significant safety net for Government finances.

Some panic over frozen tax allowances seems a bit out of proportion. Assuming a 3% pay rise and 3.6% inflation rate the extra tax for the average worker on £39000 is £7.50 a month (compared to if allowances had risen with inflation).Out of an increase of £97.50 a month.

What struck me in the KemiBadenoch budget response was, despite the early release by the OBR, her communication skills are woeful.Making it a personal attack on the Chancellor rather than a detailed critique of the budget was the action of the playground bully not a wannabe PM.

Anyone else find it odd how Farage is more supportive of Putins propaganda channel Russia Today than he is of the British Broadcasting Company. Perhaps the recent conviction of Russian Reform asset Nathan Gill might reopen an investigation into interference in our democratic system.

Now we have firm evidence that a senior Reform member and close ally of Nigel Farage Nathan Gill, was working for the Russians is it not necessary for our democracy to reopen the Russian inquiry and fully investigate the interference in our domestic policy by a hostile state?

Nathan Gill,Reforms former Welsh leader – once praised by Nigel Farage as a “terrific” ally – has now admitted taking bribes for pro-Russia messaging. Farage’s silence is deafening. At a time of real concern about Kremlin interference in UK politics, the public deserves answers.

After Dunblane, the UK introduced laws to restrict gun ownership to protect children. It didn't mean guns disappeared, but it made it safer. The online safety bill doesn't eradicate online child abuse ,but it does make it safer. Farage offers no alternative, unless he does ,he is on the wrong side.

Perhaps the least edifying sight this week is senior Tories leaping on the coat tails of megalomaniac Musk, knowing that the language used puts MPs in real danger. Badenoch should be condemning, not condoning vile and spurious attacks, not slavelishly repeating them.
