As my journey has progressed, I have definitely been harsher on some Pokemon. Blaziken, is one of them. Through the years, I’ve come to appreciate it for what it is. One even competed in a GPL. I will say “serving bush” is s new perspective! Thank you for this observation.

I've been thinking a lot about kingdom hearts lately. And the talk of Harry Potter here the last couple days has led me to a conclusion: In a meta, storytelling sense, they are almost complete opposites. They both appear one way on the surface but basically swap places under examination.

One of the most satisfying meals to me is mashed potatoes topped with ground beef (or chopped up leftover roast/steak) and brown gravy. Maybe a side of broccoli or something for the illusion of health. Filling, comforting, easy, and cheap.

I emailed the club suggesting they cancel the shows due to his vile comments. This is the response I received. The shows are not canceled, just not listed on their main calendar, a cowardly approach if you ask me.

Hi Ben
Our company is extremely diverse, and while individually we don't always agree with the performers on our stage, we stand by their right to share their opinions. We understand that this may not be the answer you would like to hear, but unfortunately, we get complaints about virtually every performer on our calendar, as we live in a time of very polarizing opinions and ideologies. Well I guess I'm going to silent Hill. My entire drive here was bright and sunny. Then on fairly flat terrain, I drove into an actual wall of fog. I could clearly see the edge, it was hella weird. The whole town is like this though. (unfortunately didn't think to snap a pic then 🤦)

Today was the day. Bear had improved some, but over the weekend it became obvious the time had come. Rest Peacefully, little buddy. Thank you for always keeping an eye on us. Thank you for your company. Thank you for the lessons you taught me. You were a good boy, I love you and I'll miss you.

14 years ago on Mardi Gras I got so drunk I completely blacked and got a DUI by throwing a soda bottle out of my parked car in a strip club parking lot, being asked by a cop to throw it away, and stumbling to the nearby gas station trash can. Good times!

Bear isn't doing well, I think moving to a colder climate was just too much for his old bones. Hips are obviously super painful for him. It's so hard to watch him like this but it's also so hard to make the decision that it's time.... Damn this sucks.
