Quick reminder that in May Pope Leo wrote a 47 pages encyclical called Magnifica Humanitas. While there is a lot of theology in it, there is also secular reasons against AI. They even made infographics. Its a very easy way to educate about AI:

Most Popes names are based on previous Popes or saints. And they don't choose names of the apostles, except for John and Paul because that were already Popes Johns and Pauls because the name change became a thing

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Some people think Popes change names because it happened with Saint Peter but that's not the case. Originally the Popes didn't change their names until one guy named Peter was elected and he didn't wanted to be "Peter II", and later a guy name Mercury decided that would be better to change his name

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

The best part of being an artist is that you can just draw whatever dumb idea comes to your head at 1am

A scene parodying the Neon Genesis Evangelion scene of Asuka and her Eva unit getting pierced by the spear of longinus. In this scene, Linguini and Remy from Pixar's Ratatouille take the place of the EVA unit and Asuka respectively. Linguinis eye is pierced by a fork version of the spear and Remy is depicted in an inset where he is grabbing his eye and screaming like the anime. There are anime subtitles at the bottom that say "AHHHHHHHHH!"

Golden JLR @goldenjlr.bsky.social · 11/09/2026
