These are the evil I speak of, I wish I could waterboard whoever invented these.

Really want to find more gigs where I can just do lines or flats for someone. I love my own projects but I deeply crave being involved in a project I love to make it come together. I just want to be involved in things that make me happy and not. Whatever this shit is. *gestures at my workplace*

Buddy prompted me to draw two of the characters I'm writing about. They're goobers.

A monochrome sketch of a wolf named Elliot (he/him) and a donkey girl named Ida (she/her).

Yes, maybe the answer has been right in front of me all along, but the pieces are about to fucking align.

ShelaFox @glimmergremlin.com · 01/10/2026

And I don't even like what I'm doing anyway. I like that I can do it but it doesn't spark any joy. At least coming back from a good break gave me clarity.

ShelaFox @glimmergremlin.com · 01/10/2026

I could be okay with the other bs if the stimulation wasn't getting to me. I wouldn't be happy but I'd be happier to tolerate it. I could cope. I very much am not coping right now. I have ideas for solutions where I could stay long term, but none that feel achievable. Leaving just does.

ShelaFox @glimmergremlin.com · 01/10/2026

I didn't realize how much the discomfort at work was weighing on me until today. The smells, the temperature, the near fucking silence. It's both over and underestimating in all the worst ways possible for me. Stack that in with the usual work bs and it makes sense why I'm miserable.

With all the talk, I do want to update my FA again...trying to decide how I want to go about it.

ShelaFox @glimmergremlin.com · 30/09/2026

Feels nice to sit in my car during lunch and breathe air that isn't infested with chemicals. Possibly the most peaceful I've felt all day.

ShelaFox @glimmergremlin.com · 30/09/2026

Okay but if I get a Project: 863 tattoo it could be the "Remember to Breathe" tagine, which would go great and in theme with my "Everything is Fine" tattoo from Marble Hornets...

I get wanting the place to smell nice but why does it always have to be like this. I've tried bringing it up but I can tell it'll be a battle to get them all shut off and I'd rather use that energy to just get the fuck out.

110

ShelaFox @glimmergremlin.com · 30/09/2026

I can't fucking work in an environment where they want to blast smelly things into the air. I can't do it. I either have a headache from the chemicals or I open my window and deal with pain from being too cold. Literally no winning

Keep getting vague visions of what I want for The Caruso Legacy as a game but I can't quite put it together in a clear picture. I know the only way to figure it out is to just try stuff but sometimes I wish the path was clear.

Feels like my brain is moving in a solid direction again. But it's definitely a "don't touch anything or it'll collapse" type of situation. Which brands returning to work in two days will have negative effects.
