I think part of what I gravitate towards musically is at least in part a result of playing DDR a lot as a kid. Some step-charts felt so good physically to my body that it made me love the song more in kind. I think that's stuck with me.

Therapist assigned: ask a buddy to hang out, or have a call. Don't be afraid of wasting their time. "If you regard them so highly, why not let them show you they value you, too?" Fair. Went great. Gave myself extra credit in establishing a healthy boundary (i.e. saying no), too. Also good!

This was not how she wanted to die. Creeping cold snaked back through her limbs, and
her vision went dark as she disappeared once more into

Her senses stirred like a faint breeze spinning among
dead leaves, and shefumbled for her mind in thevoid. A new
cocoon of warmth replaced the aching cold, and after some
consideration, she came to the puzzling conclusion that she’d
been bundled up. Even her head seemed to be on a pillow, a
bizarre, comfortable, and unexpected arrangement. Perhaps
she wasn’taloneafterall,and- She was breathing open atmosphere. Her eyes flew open as she fought her way out of the
blankets, holding her breath until shecould clamp her muzzle
with one hand and cover her nostrils with the other. Streams
of air seethed between her teeth while she frantically
searched the surrounding darkness for the respirator, but it
was nowhere to be found. Her lungs ached, burning and
shrieking to be full again, and long seconds passed in agony
untila flash of reason interrupted her panic. If the contamination had escaped the hangar, she
would already be transformed. That was clearly not the case. She wasalive, thinking, more Caaratiigéthan monster.
