Miles' design is actually done mainly by @goldmousestudios.bsky.social! I'm so glad to finally draw it, I've had this one tucked in my folder for quite a long time.

An orange fox character with three tails.

Finished some more busts the other day and forgot to post. Finally I've drawn my handsome boy Simeon! I may tweak his design more but I'm happy enough for now. And Miles, who works for Simeon as an assistant. #shelaart #furryart #furry #illustration #bust #carusolegacy

A bust portrait on a simple blue background. The portrait is of a character named Simeon, he is a purple armadillo lizard with dark hair and wearing a button up shirt. He also wears small round sunglasses over his yellow-green eyes.

I had to pull the cover off my 3DS thumbstick because it had gone sticky. But the fact that you can see the damage from my years of egg hatching in Pokemon X is hilarious to me. All that from a penny.

I don't think I ever posted these from end of last year/beginning of this year. My vision for an Underworld Nightmares reboot does involve them being furry and so I wanted to work out some designs. No, I can't get away from foxes lmao They're just so stylish!! #furryart #doodles #foxes #anthro

Three bust sketches of different characters from a comic, Underworld Nightmares. One of Eric, a black panther with long dreads and red eyes. The second is Jason, a lion mountain with yellow eyes and shaggy black hair. And the final is Rya, an arctic fox with brown hair and blue eyes. All of them have relatively natural fur palettes.

A coloured sketch of a character from my comic Underworld Nightmares by the name of Raige. She is a demon red fox and features horns and wings. Her eye sclara is black.

Early Cloudrunner Fortress had so much more Style...

A screenshot from an early build of Starfox Aventures. The screenshot shows a statue which is not seen in the final of a Cloudrunner with its head held up to the sky.

A flirty incubus kangaroo blows a kiss to someone off camera. Their wings are spread out as they walk down a dirt path through town.

Looking at some old photos and this one is giving album cover vibes from some nickelback-like band. I dunno maybe it's because I miss the house and it makes me feel nostalgic.

Finally finished this art trade for @teiranova.com! Her girl Cienna doesn't love the maid outfit and I imagine it causes a lot of unwanted comments. Some days a girl just has to snap you know? Had a lot of fun with this one, tried some new things with the shading and it paid off.

Character imagine of fancharacter Cienna Aires who is a verpardi race from Ratchet and Clank. She's standing in a slightly angled position while holding a spray bottle and saying "You do realize I have consistent access to dangerous chemicals, right?" while looking angry. She's wearing a maids outfit that she doesn't care for. This is over a green textured background.

While working on Starfox Adventures and reworking designs, someone must have said "we need to make him hotter" when it came to Musclefoot. (Aka Strong Lightfoot)

A big muscled raptor-like dinosaur. His chest is massive and his arms swollen, but his face is tiny and dorky.

Another strong muscled dinosaur, standing next to Fox McCloud. He is more proportionate and has a more handsome face. Also he's covered in tribal paint and jewelry.

Completely silly that the back bridge in Walled City of SFA Kiosk version has railings when the final does not. (Just the posts for the railings!)

Screenshot from the game Star Fox Adventures (kiosk version) showing a bridge with railings and Fox McCloud crossing the bridge. The screenshot is taken from Youtube, thanks Jeebs.

A screenshot from the game Starfox Adventures, except this is the retail version of the game. Once again, Fox McCloud is crossing a bridge, but this bridge has no railings, only posts. Thank you Loopy Longplays.

With those watercolours I received there were two sets of Reeves brand, from two different periods of time. I can say without a doubt, without having hardly used these yet, that the old ones (left) are far superior. The newer ones (right) also don't say "fine" anymore. (I couldn't find years)

Trying to get back into things, wanted to revamp King a little bit too. I should have done the purple spots a lot sooner tbh and I really like the darker nose patch, makes him extra cute! Actually tamed his hair back a little, it was getting extreme.

Watermarking old art and really just want to post this one again. For this piece being 10 years old now, I think it still really holds up! That bamboo was so painful to draw but it turned out so nice... Featuring @nightfire.bsky.social and a friendly panda #shelaart #furryart #2015art

An digital illustration of a red anthro fox holding a happy looking Panda by the face as it tries to "fight" (hug) him. The panda is the same height as the fox. The fox is wearing a sparring outfit with a sword sheath attached. They are fighting in the clearing of a bamboo thicket, which frames them in the drawing. It is very green hued.

I've been able to brainstorm ideas for most of the cast, but I'm stumped with Jason, so I'm curious. What animal could you picture him being?

000

ShelaFox @glimmergremlin.com · 21/12/2025

Real talk though? It is a CRIME that when they redesigned Erma Ermine they just made her look more like a Sally Acorn wannabe by giving her straight hair. She should have kept the bouncy hair!!

030

ShelaFox @glimmergremlin.com · 21/12/2025

Again, PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT, IT RULEZ!! Here's the two gals I drew for this. Very different styles because Hershey is more meant to mimic the comic style but Erma is more just in my style. I did keep her design more like the 90's comics, rather than her later design!

A full body drawing of Hershey the cat from the Sonic Archie comics. She is posed with one leg bent, hand on hip and one arm out to wave. It's a sassy and slightly flirty pose. She's wearing her normal outfit of red boots, red vest, and blue bandana around the neck. She also has two gold bangles on her arms. Her fur is black and white, green eyes, and a blue nose.

A full body drawing of Erma Ermine from the Sonic Archie comics. Her fur is brown with a tan face and inner ear. Her eyes are blue and her hooded eyes also have a blue eye shadow. Hair is red and fluffy. She's wearing her usual pink sweater and posed with her hands on her hips while she looks to the right.
