Why aren’t we encouraging employers who can offer remote work to do it? Fewer commutes mean less gas used, lower costs for families, less traffic, and fewer emissions. Seems like an easy win for families, fuel conservation, and the environment.🤷🏼‍♀️⛽️🚗

I had a bit of an AI epiphany today. As AI takes over more jobs, what happens to all the income and payroll taxes those workers used to generate? Companies may produce even more with fewer employees, meaning more of the money shifts from wages to corporate profits while fewer working Americans are left supporting the tax base. Apparently economists are already thinking about this, but I haven’t heard much about it. If we needed another reason to be thoughtful about how quickly we hand jobs over to AI, this seems like a pretty big one. And if the robots are going to do the work, maybe it’s time they started paying taxes. 🤖💰

I’m really happy with how this little potting shed floor turned out. What started as “I’ll just paint a cute pattern” turned into measuring, leveling, taping, re-taping, and math that made my head explode 🧑‍🎨🎨🪴 But it came out better than I thought!!!!💚
