Listening to the news this morning, I found myself thinking about how differently we value human lives. I needed to put those thoughts into words. @jacobsoboroff.bsky.social

She’s in a purple district in southern Washington, and the campaign ads between her and her opponent have gotten pretty heated. We get them here in Portland, too, and let’s just say, she’s no peach.

My daughter developed drop foot in her 20s after a freak fall while running. They were able to repair the damaged nerve with surgery near her knee, and it restored function in her foot. The human body is absolutely wild.

Watching him with Jen Psaki, he just comes across as an authentic Mainer, likable, funny, and able to speak to what people actually care about. I love how he keeps throwing out “concern,” and now the folks in the bar are cracking up and joining in. 😂 He connects. It’s fun to watch.
