I remember telling my folks years ago that I was really getting into Rush. My Fox-pilled dad was surprised but really happy for the brief time it took me to figure out what he thought I meant and disabuse him of that idea.

Swan Boy is the modern Achewood. If you don't know what that means, it's basically the highest compliment that can be paid to a webcomic. Chaotic, crass, but with plenty of heart, its hard to describe. The only way to understand is to read Start of one of my fave arcs: swanboy.com/comic/injure...

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

A small crab (less than three inches long) with legs striped bright orange and dark brown peeks its bright orange head out from a buff-colored shell generously speckled with dark maroon algae. It is resting on a roughly textured rock in colors very similar to those of the crab's shell.

and still more bees. I'll stop here but I have so many more glamorous bees and silly bees and bees with non-bee friends and sleepy bees I would be happy to introduce :) (4/4)
A mostly pale-orange bee with pollen baskets full of dark orange pollen has just taken off from a cluster of tansy flowers and is captured in flight about an inch into the air. Its wings are barely visible because of their motion and its hind legs dangle adorably below its body while its front legs are bent adorably up toward its face.A ridiculously tiny dark-colored bee perches on the tip of the white pistil of a small white bowl-shaped blossom.Chunky bee with fuzzy pale yellow thorax, big black eyes, and a black abdomen rests clinging to the underside of a bright yellow petal. Goofy little goober.Chunky bee with fuzzy yellow thorax and black abdomen with its head buried in a pale yellow honeysuckle blossom.

more beeeeees (3/4)
A bee striped black and yellow is captured (slightly out of focus) mid-air flying toward a bright yellow jewel-weed flower shaped like a cup, opening to the side rather than at the top.A black and yellow bee with a lot of pollen in its pollen baskets is lodged deeply head-first in a bright yellow jewel-weed blossom, with its back toward the ground and belly toward the sky, and only its back end visible.A fuzzy bee is resting on a rough, pale surface (I think a rock). Its fuzz is a rich velvety brown, and its abdomen is striped yellow and brown. Its wings, resting along its back, shine with reflected light.A chunky bee with a pale yellow fuzzy thorax, big black eyes, and a black abdomen perches in profile on the outside of a cluster of small pink flowers. Bright yellow pollen grains dust the fuzz on its legs and abdomen, and more crown its head.

Not easy to choose just a couple favorites, but I'll keep it to a dozen. 2/4
Two fuzzy pale yellow and black bees resting in the center of a bright yellow flower. One has placed a leg over the back of the other in a way that resembles a gentle embrace.Black bee resting at the edge of a white-petaled daisy with a bright yellow center. The bee is facing away from the center as though it is looking down over the edge of the flower, and its legs and the end of its abdomen are coated with bright yellow pollen.Fuzzy black and pale yellow bee right down in the center of a rich pink hibiscus-type flower. The pistil is covered in large grains of pale yellow pollen and the bee has also become just absolutely sloppy with large pollen grains, like bright polka dots all over its fuzzy body and its head.Mostly black, fairly chunky bee with a back covered in white fuzz almost glowing in the sunlight rests clinging to the underside of a horizontal stem of small flowers. Its legs, its face, and the tip of its abdomen are all touched with bright yellow pollen.
