How many times do I need to say this? These are not expats, they are immigrants. You don’t “expat” somewhere, you emigrate, and that makes you an immigrant. I have never heard anyone refer to “Bangladeshi Expats” or “Polish Expats”, it’s always immigrants, so why not here?

It's this simple. Either ... 1️⃣ Brexit was the right thing to do, and staying out of the Single Market is in Britain's best interest. Or ... 2️⃣ Brexit was a mistake, and we can only start to repair the damage by rejoining the Single Market. Anyone who says both at the same time is gaslighting you.
Britannia stands alone on a tiny rock, surrounded by a sea of sewage. Despite her desolate isolation, she says, "This is fine".

I can’t recall, but during Austerity, were there any headlines warning that when you “cut public services, you cut growth”? Or with Brexit, any headlines saying “when you add bureaucracy to our trade infrastructure, you cut growth”? I’m sure I must have just missed these.
Headline reading:

‘When you hit profits, you hit growth': Businesses criticise biggest budget tax increase in decades
The Labour government put growth at the heart of its campaigning during the last general election, but it increased taxes by the largest amount since John Major's government in 1993.
