Ah FFS. Got the mattress protector on, got the fitted sheet on (including clips), got pillow cases on, then turned duvet cover inside out to put it on and was gifted a shit ton of pine needles. Things can't just go simply, can they?

Managed to make it to the hospital again Flo could have a video call with the rear of the family celebrating Niece's birthday today. Again, walking outside with help and a stick, and I think her eye is slightly less wonky again.

Right, that's the bed stripped completely and in the wash. I'll deal with re-making the bed later when I have the strength. Probably *much* later. Fortunately Flo doesn't need anything washed today, she has plenty of clean stuff atm. Just got to get my strength back up for driving to the hospital.

Another terrible night, waking up with all the bedding soaked in sweat. Guess I'm stripping the bed and remaking it AGAIN before I head out to the hospital. Managed to have a shower so at least *I* don't stink but I could really do without this extra hassle right now.

Back from the hospital again. Had a good walk to the canteen and back, just using a stick and my arm, seems much brighter today and I think her eye is looking a bit better. Still wonky but not as bad as it was.

Got to the hospital today and Flo was much more with it. Still struggling with words and vision, but better than I've seen the past week. Went for a trundle round the grounds in a borrowed wheelchair so she could enjoy the sunshine, get some fresh air and have a video call with her mum :)
