got around to watching the CGI resident evil movies. i knew what to expect but it still wasn't great. the more recent infinite darkness and death island were MUCH better among these. with death island feeling like the avengers but for RE. only question: where's Barry? (or Ada for that matter)

spent yesterday finally reading Mark Waid and Alex Ross's 1996 comic "Kingdom Come". a DC Comics "Elseworlds" story set in the twilight years of the Silver Age heroes. it's simply incredible. the art is all beautiful paintings and the story, a tense tragedy slowly unfolding

probably the best multi-verse story i've ever seen is a show called "dark matter" (not the "syfy" show). a story dealing with some interesting consequences of traveling between alternate realities. doesn't hurt that it has jennifer connelly, of course, but i wasn't really expecting a second season
